Network Parameters

  • Fully private, isolated 5G SA and 4G network
  • Dedicated SIM cards
  • One network slice
  • Frequency for 5G: 3.70-3.8GHz (part of GSMA n78, so called „industrial band”)
  • Frequency for 4G: 2.1 GHz
  • 2 micro cells setup  
  • Network congested with simulated traffic to test your use-case w/ or w/o NEF capabilities
  • EDGE Computing capabilities on request (VM, bare metal) if you need low latency architecture

Note! It’s real isolated network. If you plan to use your app server on remote datacenter / cloud, we need a while to agree the proper routing + setup the gateway / proxy.

We want to explore how the 5G network is responding to interferences, and which minimum bandwidth we need to upload at least 4 images in parallel.
Through the NEF APIs, we intend to test our platform's capability to control application requirements on behalf of the user and capture various important metrics.
We are excited to see how our solution performs in a congested and more realistic network setting to confirm our scalability hypotheses.
We expect to reach the minimum level of latency that we've seen up to now meaning less than 18ms to make Vrombr work the smoothest.
