Get ready for hub:raum Krakow WARP - a turbo accelerator for start-ups

hub:raum Krakow organizes a turbo acceleration program for startups and creative individuals who strive to speed-up the development of their ideas. The innovation incubator called the initiative “the Warp[1]” – the name illustrates the power that the initiative gives to young companies across Europe through mentoring, workshops and financial support. An advantage of the accelerator is also covering the costs of flight and accommodation to all participants. The program will take place in Krakow from November 30th until December 7th and applications can be submitted on the website until November 17th.

hub:raum Krakow Warp is an eight-day long turbo accelerator backed by Deutsche Telekom. The main aim is to establish strong relations with entrepreneurs in Europe, to help them succeed in international markets, and to invite the best projects to the incubator. During the program participants will have the opportunity to broaden knowledge and experience from experts and to immerse into all aspects that are relevant to making their business real. What is more, entrepreneurs will also practice their pitch skills in order to present their ideas in a comprehensive and understandable way.

“We regard our program as an academy with mentoring conducted by experienced entrepreneurs, workshops held by international experts, and meetings with companies. During hub:raum Warp, we will focus especially on startup financing, developing a concept and business model, marketing, legal issues and much more. Wide possibilities for startuppers

During the accelerator, hub:raum Krakow offers a variety of possibilities for entrepreneurs from workshops and lectures to one-to-one meetings with specialists and mentors. The main reason why young businessmen should participate in the program is that during the initiative they can validate whether a product or service will find customers. Furthermore, participation in the initiative is a great possibility to raise money for developing their ideas and preparing for the business-making within only eight days.

“In addition to all benefits that are connected with the participation in the Warp, probably the biggest one is that startuppers can meet many interesting and passionate people from all around the world. Furthermore, participants will have the opportunity to use technological assets of Deutsche Telekom – thanks to that they can decide to run a global business with our help. One thing is also important, we will cover the costs of flight and accommodation to all participants. This is a huge advantage for young entrepreneurs.” – says Jakub Probola.

Who can apply?

The recruitment process of a visionary and outstanding ideas within web- and mobile-based business models lasts from October 1st to November 17th. The incubator looks for teams of at least two people (up to four seats per team) with a clearly-defined, innovative idea, with an already existing project or individuals with an excellent idea. Supporting amazing ideas

Financing, co-working, mentoring and access to corporate assets of Deutsche Telekom – those are the pillars offered by hub:raum Krakow for the best projects from the CEE region chosen in the acceleration program. The incubator gives startuppers from 10,000€ to 30,000€ in a preseed funding (no equity) and 30,000€ to 50,000€ in a seed stage in exchange for 10 to 30 percent equity stake in the company. Apart from the money given to develop the idea, a startup can choose one of the mentors who will become their partner and will support the team throughout the execution of the project. The incubator cooperates with a group of highly qualified and experienced entrepreneurs. In addition, hub:raum Krakow gives the opportunity to take advantage of Deutsche Telekom’s corporate possibilities including pre-installation on the phones, marketing campaigns or bundling with telekoms’ offers.
