We are happy to announce today (at the Mobile World Congress) the joint Internet of Things (IoT) accelerator  “Challenge Up!” by Cisco, Deutsche Telekom and Intel  that offers it’s program to early-stage startups from Europe, Middle East and Africa.

The main objective of this program is to help innovative IoT/IoE startups to go-to-market faster through joint projects, mentoring, high-value networking and corporate assets. Selected companies may also receive strategic investments and support commercializing their product or service for global markets.

Salonmeister receives 7-flag funding round

Berlin-based startup Salonmeister has received funding in seven figures. Salonmeister is a cloud-based software-as-a-service provider for appointment management and CRM for beauty services – such as hairdressers, beauty salons, day spas and massage studios, cosmetics studios and more. Salonmeister is the German market leader in the area of appointment booking for hairdressers, beauty and wellness.

qLearning: startup Nr. 7 @hubraum Berlin incubator

The qLearning team is the seventh startup to move to hub:raum, Deutsche Telekom's incubator. The company's five founders were still students when they got started in February 2012. Their app turns a smartphone or tablet PC into a mobile tutor that helps students study for exams. hub:raum Krakow team sets out on a startup journey across Europe

Zagreb, Budapest, Bucharest, Vienna, Sofia, Ljubljana, Prague, Bratislava, Riga, Tallinn, Budva and Vilnius – those are the cities that hub:raum Krakow team will visit during the road trip across Central and Eastern Europe. The innovation incubator backed by Deutsche Telekom will set out on a trip on September, 30th. During the five days of the journey the team will meet local communities, present hub:raum Krakow offer and exchange ideas and knowledge with young entrepreneurs.

Mit Online-Buchungstool für Friseur- und Beauty-Termine zieht drittes Startup in den hub:raum

Konzept überzeugt hub:raum und weitere Investoren

hub:raum, der Inkubator der Deutschen Telekom, unterstützt ab sofort das Team von Salonmeister. Das Startup wurde im Frühjahr 2012 von Phillipp Rechberg, Louis Pfitzner und Nils Griess-Nega, gegründet. Seit Herbst ist die Online-Buchungsplattform für Friseurtermine online und kann bereits Erfolge in Berlin, Hamburg und München vorweisen.
